Tactical mapping, built on your real CAD

Map brings your geo-referenced CAD and as-built drone imagery into one live site plan — real situational awareness for the whole team, not a pin dropped on outdated Google Maps. We work with the tools you already use. We never replace your CAD.

MasterGrid Map on a laptop: a geo-referenced CAD site plan over as-built drone imagery, a Spaces panel listing tents and vendors, a layers panel for traffic, power, areas, and deployment, and an on-map area measurement.

Built on the drawings you already have

Drag and drop your geo-referenced schematics from AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or SketchUp, and layer in as-built drone imagery from DroneDeploy. Minutes later your team is working from the real site — every gate, every dimension — instead of a pin dropped on a stale Google Map. Updating the plan is one more drag-and-drop.

Drag, drop, done — no re-drawing

  • AutoCAD CAD schematics
  • Vectorworks CAD & design
  • SketchUp 3D site models
  • DroneDeploy As-built drone imagery

Easy as 1, 2, 3

1

Create your CAD

Draw it where you already work — AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or SketchUp.

2

Drag & drop into MasterGrid

Drop the geo-referenced file in. It’s live in minutes — no re-drawing.

3

Publish to your team

Share the live map with authorized users — access scoped, and revocable anytime.

Mark it up, measure, revise — right on the map

Measure an area or a cable run, drop a note, flag a change — directly on the live plan. Revision and annotation tools that keep everyone on the current version, not a printout from three weeks ago.

Find yourself on the CAD site plan

Put your real-time GPS position on the CAD plan and answer the only question that matters in the field: where am I? Accurate to within a foot — enough to get a crew to the right gate, fast.

~1 ft accuracy. A field-awareness aid — not a substitute for a surveyed GPS stakeout.

Every layer, one plan

See and manage every layer on one CAD site plan — security DOT placements, power distribution, deployments, WiFi, exits and gates. Toggle what you need; hand the right view to the right team.

One plan, fully under your control

Your plan is a security asset

Stop emailing PDFs — one forward and your layout is in a competitor’s inbox. Share the plan, scope what each person sees, and revoke access the moment a staffer or vendor moves on. The map never leaves your control.

High-res imagery on demand

Need sharper aerials? Pull high-resolution imagery from Nearmap and other providers straight into your plan — current, crisp, and georeferenced to your CAD.

Questions teams ask

What can I import into Map?

Geo-referenced CAD from AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and SketchUp, plus as-built drone survey imagery (for example, DroneDeploy). Drag, drop, and your plan is live for the whole team.

Does MasterGrid replace my CAD software?

No. Map works with your CAD, not instead of it. You keep drawing where you draw; we make the geo-referenced plan live in the field for everyone who needs it.

How accurate is the in-field GPS?

Within about a foot — enough to orient a crew on the site plan. It is a field-awareness aid, not a substitute for a surveyed GPS stakeout.

Can I control who sees the site plan?

Yes. Share access by person, scope what each role can see, and revoke it instantly when someone leaves. Your site plan is a security asset, and it stays under your control.

Can I buy higher-resolution aerial imagery?

Yes. Order high-resolution imagery from Nearmap and other providers directly into your plan.
