Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this covers

This Privacy Policy describes how MasterGrid ("MasterGrid," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information through the marketing website at mastergrid.io and www.mastergrid.io (the "Site"), including the early-access application form.

The MasterGrid application at app.mastergrid.io is a separate service governed by its own agreements with customers. This Policy covers the Site only.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. If you submit the early-access application, we collect the information you enter: full name, work email, organization, role, typical event size, and — only if you choose to provide it — a phone number.

Information collected automatically with a submission. When you submit a form, we also record technical information associated with the request: your IP address, approximate location derived from it (city, region, and country), browser user agent, the referring page, and a timestamp. We use this to evaluate lead quality, prevent abuse, and secure the Site.

Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that records aggregated page views, referrers, device categories, and country-level location. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.

Email delivery data. If we email you (for example, confirming your application), our email provider records delivery and engagement status for that message.

3. What we do not do

The Site sets no tracking cookies and uses no advertising pixels.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act).

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to: evaluate and respond to early-access applications; communicate with you about MasterGrid; operate, secure, and improve the Site (including abuse and spam prevention); understand aggregate Site traffic; and comply with legal obligations.

For visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are: your consent (when you submit a form), our legitimate interests (Site security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Service providers

We share information only with the service providers that run the Site on our behalf: Vercel (hosting, content delivery, and cookieless analytics), Supabase (database hosting for application submissions), and Resend (transactional email). Each processes data under its own terms and data-processing commitments and only as needed to provide its service to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a corporate transaction (such as a financing or acquisition), in which case this Policy will continue to apply to previously collected information.

6. Data retention

We retain early-access applications for as long as reasonably needed to operate the early-access program and for our records. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8), and we will honor verified requests unless we are legally required to retain the data.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mastergrid.io from the address associated with your submission. We will verify the request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards: all Site traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), application data is stored in access-controlled systems restricted to the MasterGrid team, and administrative access is credential-gated. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Site is a business service and is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
